Isaac Solano is not your typical teenager. He is a leader, a community organizer and a politician in training. His story is even more impressive when you learn that Isaac lost his mother at a tender young age and was still able to do what he has done for his community, school and for himself. He accredits some of his success to his relationship with his mentor, David Pocs. David and Isaac were matched through the Goodwill mentor program four years ago and have been a constant in each other’s lives ever since. Isaac is the president and founder of the North High School ethics club and has aspirations of becoming the mayor of Denver someday. Not one person who has ever met him doubts that this is a possibility.
